Still Upward

Still upward be thine onward course:
for this I pray today.
Still upward as the years go by,
and seasons pass away.

Still upward in this coming year,
thy path is all untried.
Still upward may’st thou journey on,

The humblest of men in Christ is, by all standards, higher than the highest of men without Christ. An encounter with Jesus Christ marks the beginning of a tremendous revolution in the life of the sincere seeker. The seed of greatness, an acorn of triumph is planted in the innermost being of the genuinely converted believer.  

Life itself is a thick unchartered wilderness. The fall of mankind in the garden of Eden marked the beginning of opposition from the entire creation of God. Everything possible started going awry with mankind. But then, the beneficiaries of Christ’s pardon miraculously regain their total victory in the Saviour. Christ in a believer will make a way for him through the wilderness, calm all his storms, part every sea asunder and give him a stream in the dry desert. Arise then o redeemed of the Lord. Factor Christ into your 2022 new year resolution and you will reap a lifetime revolution. Lead your captivity captive, navigate forward, and soar upward in the strength of your indomitable mighty Conqueror. Let not the enemy put you down, this year can be the defining year in your life. Press on the upward way and gain new horizons as you put your trust in Christ who strengthens you. Your back need not be on the ground anymore if you can trust in the Lord. You can achieve and sustain all your goals and resolutions by soaring upward with Jesus Christ and in the strength of the Holy Spirit. See you on top!
