2020: What An Experience (A Poem)

A poem by an 11 year old on her year 2020 experience.

By Faithfulness F.

What an experience we had in 2020
Everyone was so excited for this year
Instead it ended up in fear
But I thank God that I am still here

What an experience we had in 2020
There are many bad things about this year
Like not being able to go to school or church
Because Covid-19 was roaming the earth

What an experience we had in 2020
I stayed at home from morning till night
Not able to go outside even when the weather was right with no single person in sight

What an experience we had in 2020
Yes, there are bad things about this year but there are some good things I can speak about like
Getting closer to God and praying more

What an experience we had in 2020
For the time we all spent inside
I have formed a habit I can’t lay aside
I thank God for new talents I cannot hide

What an experience we had in 2020
It started with fear, now it is slowly starting to Disappear, God is with us from the beginning to The end, I know this because he is my friend
