3 John 1:2 says, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”
In this verse John is praying not only for the believers to prosper spiritually but also physically. The verse stresses something that is not often taught among Christians, not only does God want you to do well spiritually, but holistically, He cares about all of you. There are some key aspects of health that the Christian should be intentional about.

Physical health -This refers to your bodily health, the part of you that goes through most of the physical activity you engage in. It is important to give close attention to this aspect of your health. If not, you stand a risk of becoming ill, thereby putting a strain on your activities of daily living.

1. Sleep 8 hours a day, 6 hours for worst case scenarios. 2. Hydration to keep your systems up and running. The U.S. National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine determined that an adequate daily fluid intake is: About 15.5 cups (3.7 liters) of fluids a day for men. About 11.5 cups (2.7 liters) of fluids a day for women. 3. More fruits and veggies 4. Less processed food. 5. Good skin and hair care 6. Bring natural essence to your physical space. Decorate your home with natural plants. This purifies the atmosphere and increases oxygen for great breath. 7. Personal hygiene is non-negotiable. Cleanliness is next to godliness. 8. Choose rest over stress. 9. Not every activity requires your urgent attention. Learn to prioritise. 10. Decluttering your physical space gives you clarity of thought. 11. Measure and watch your weight frequently. 12. Take multivitamin supplements. Most times your meal is not inclusive of all the vitamins your body needs for optimum functioning. 13. Exercise regularly and be Physically active. It does not have to be a rigorous exercise = for example, brisk walking. 14. Reduce sitting and screen time.
