Lockdown Was A Sudden And Irritating Experience!

A personal reflection by an 11 year old on the first lockdown.

By Mishael A, 11.

Lockdown was a sudden and irritating experience, especially as it came just before my SATS exams. It was uneventful and we thought it would come to an end quickly but we were wrong. Have you ever felt compelled to go outside but you can’t?  It’s really annoying. When you are at home with your sibling for example me and my little brother we get under each other’s nerves.

I was happy and amazed when lockdown happened but it was single-handedly one of the most difficult experience I have ever had. On the other hand, it’s truly amazing what can happen when you have a long time concentrating on things, for example, I was able to improve my drawings skills and general knowledge, but if I could rate every day or what has happened this whole year, I can say lockdown wasn’t so bad.

Just a summary of my feelings on lockdown. May God bless you all.

How was lockdown for you?
